My advice to you…
I think adultification as a child is so hard to identify especially when you are in the moment. It can often be identified when you become an adult.
But what I would say which is really hard to do is to speak about it with a trusted adult for clarity on an experience and ask for advice. Alongside being adultIfield as adult, it is a shame but true that some adults will not deal well with the exposure of their actions but being vocal is important as it may prevent future behaviour.
Also young black girls remember that you are beautifully and perfectly made. There can only be one you so do not let society and this ever changing world try to fit you in a box and limit you by trends, preferences or intimidation.
A lot of the time black girls grow into strong women who find it hard to share their vulnerable side but there is more power in knowing the real you and being kind to yourself throughout all of the emotions.
