About: Growing Pains is a play on the term that speaks to growth that young kids go through that’s usually described as harmless. For us we’re subverting the concept to speak to the expedited growth and adolescence that Black girls experience, that can be in fact painful, confusing and harmful when they are subject to Adultification Bias.
